The streaming service is known for its live TV channels, but this is the first time it has actually put the content on its site, and it is a big reason why Netflix’s business is booming.
Netflix announced the news today, and in a blog post it says it is bringing a new feature called “Subscription” that allows users to subscribe to new series, movies, TV shows and documentaries.
Netflix says subscribers will be able to “find content that they love” on the platform.
There is a separate “Watch Later” section for movies, as well.
Netflix said that it will start rolling out the feature to all subscribers on July 1.
“Subscription is a key pillar of our strategy,” Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos said in a statement.
Netflix said it is “working closely with our customers to ensure they get the content they want and need”.
Netflix also announced a $3 billion buyout of streaming rival Hulu, which is currently valued at about $25 billion.
It also announced the launch of its new subscription service, Netflix Instant Video.
Streaming service Netflix (NYSE:NFLX) has already added a number of content creators, including a new documentary series called The Last Day of the Earth.
It has also announced new films and shows, and is building a slate of original series.
The news comes after Netflix has announced plans to launch an international service, the Netflix Original Series Service.
Netflix has also been working to get more people connected to the service.
In October, the company announced plans for a new app to stream movies from its online library.
