On Thursday, Netflix announced a new deal with mules.
The streaming company will pay mules up to $3,000 for each month a customer is on Netflix.
Netflix will pay them for all of their videos from the month, even if they don’t use it in the same year.
This will also apply to subscribers who make the same subscription as the mules for a single year.
It’s a deal that Netflix said it was “looking forward to exploring” with mule partners.
Netflix is now in a position to offer a wider selection of movies, TV shows and music than ever before, while also offering subscribers a way to enjoy content on a much larger scale.
The company has made a point of courting smaller, independent film and music companies in the past, including the likes of Sony Music and the late Michael Jackson’s estate.
The deal also makes Netflix the first company to offer its content to an entire family on a single streaming device, and is the latest sign of the streaming giant’s growing efforts to expand into a more mainstream audience.
